DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT REAL (ISSUED) FBI CREDENTIALS / ID / IDENTIFICATION LOOK LIKE? I SEE THEM ALL THE TIME IN SUCH SHOWS AS 'WITHOUT A TRACE' AND OTHER VARIOUS MOVIES, AND WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT WHAT THE OFFICIAL ONES LOOK LIKE. I ALREADY HAVE A REALLY NEAT BADGE, BUT NOW WOULD LIKE A SET OF GENUINE LOOKING ID'S TO GO WITH MY FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION MEMORABILIA COLLECTION. ANY HELP WOULD BE REALLY APPRECIATED. |

Watch the X-files closely: apparently, David Duchovny insisted that everything would be "authentic": The Real Thing <http://www.thex-filesresource.moreprofits.com/fbi-real.htm> |

I have a small photo of retired FBI credentials. It does not show much detail, but enough to get the idea. Best I can offer. By the way, I too am seeking FBI memorabilia, but I can't find any badges -- partly because I live in the US and partly because I have no collection yet (and because I have no collection, no one will sell to me, etc.) Might I ask how you obtained your badges? I'm very interested. Anyway, let me know if you'd like me to e-mail that picture I have. Again, not detailed, but it's a good example of what to look for. |

All badges you may find on the net or you may see in tv shows are really different from a real special agent's badge. FBI carefully protect itself from the diffusion of it's badges. think that lot of toy companies and collectors have been inspected and sometimes prosecuted because unhautorized posses of a badge similar to the real ones is a felony for federal laws and pretending to be a federal agent is a crime too. I once saw a real fbi agent and i saw his real badge, but only for a few moments. I can promise I had never seen nothing similar before. Anyway i found, working for a long time, two low definition photos where a real FBI agent shows his Credentials and metal badge on a leather wallet. I'm sure that is the real one. if you want I can email you these photos. let me know. |
