open command forum by writing "cmd" then write theese "net send /users (your message here)" you'll see the notifications on the clients |

Anything you try will have to be at the TCPIP/NOvell/OS level or an application. There is no command on the switches to do as you wish .. In saying that it is an interesting concept .... You could use the switch to identify what IP or MAC addresses are on the switch then use Net Send or other communication software to communicate with them. |

If you are running Novell Netware Services, right-click the "N" in the system tray and go to: "Netware Utilities", "Send Message", and the "To Users...". Select the user(s) and type the message. It should send to any/all computers connected under the user names selected. |
