With standard LSP distribution, eash LSP gets transmitted over each
link no more than twice. An alternative is to have routers run the
bridge spanning tree algorithm and transmit LSPs over the resulting
spanning tree. What are the pros and cons of such an LSP distribution
scheme? Consider such factors as how quickly an LSP reaches all
routers and how many packet transmissions it takes for the LSP to
reach all routers.
Would using the bridge spanning tree violate the principle that the
protocol for distributing routing information must not rely on the
routing information?
