You may want to clarify this question. Epithelial cells are potential
sources of DNA. Do you mean non-human epithelials (eg pet dander,
etc)?

this is a commemt, not a statement, do you want to know how they
contaminate the dna or what?
all in all though most contamination comes from an accident or mistake
in the experimental procedure or in the collection of the sample.
