I'm need you to get information on a product called tire chains. It's
a traction enhence devise(like a web but made of chains) that fits on
tires to increase traction on the tire. It keeps the vehicle from
slipping out of control on the snow, icy roads. I need to know how
many of them are sold on average (in the U.S only). I just need the
sales statistic regarding this product on two companies. The first is
a company called tire chain specialist which is one of the leading
seller of the product. You can find them on the internet at
www.tirechains.com. The second is Wal-mart, I need to know how much
tire chains they sell on average as well. I need this information
before Monday. (4/04/05)

Hello -

Walmart *might* disclose this information publicly, since they are a
publicly traded firm, but a private company such as tirechain.com is
most likely not going to, since private companies rarely disclose
competitively sensitive information.

OK, since tirechain.com won't disclose such info please check two
other public companies in addition to Wal-mart. The first is Sear's (I
know they sell it, I read that they make a big deal with a tire chain
manufacture in the past 6 months if I'm not mistake) and the other is
Costco Wholesale Corportation. I'll move the current price up to 85.00
dollars. I appreciate you help.
