The web testing company Netconversions uses a script that tracks where
site users click on a particular page. The clicks are represented as
red pixels on a non-public copy of the page.

Can anyone point me to an open source javascript or similar product available?

Hi,

Not open source and not javascript, but still might be helpful. Visit
http://www.clicktracks.com/ It's an offline web server log analyzer
that can track what links users click and show that in a convinient
and useful way.

Thanks. That's a great tool, but we actually get that service through
our Web traffic anaylitics tool, Webtrends.

Netconversions shows you what visitors clicked whether it was a link
or not. I was hoping to get that information.
