Hello chndru-ga,

I see that in 2003 you asked the following question: ?SOS - How to
find out 'What do I want to do in Life' ?. It seems that you?re still
working on this question. It?s hard to choose a career and the more
information you can collect about professions and jobs that interest
you the better. I?ve collected a variety of resources to help answer
your questions about Market Research jobs. Transitioning to marketing
research from engineering would probably require additional
coursework. It would be much easier for an engineer to transition into
other marketing positions. Product management and technical sales are
the most obvious.

In addition to the general career information about market research
I?ve also included several links with current market research job
postings. These should give you a good idea of the range of possible
market research careers.

Wishing you well for your career.
