I haven't been able to find any recent, reliable data on this, but
there is a paper you might find useful:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=7166598&dopt=Abstract

Here's the reference:
Sivan Y. Merlob P. Reisner SH. Eye measurements in preterm and term
newborn infants. [Journal Article] Journal of Craniofacial Genetics &
Developmental Biology. 2(3):239-42, 1982.

It's not online, but you should be able to find it at a good medical library.
