I am trying to locate a purse that was immensely popular at my junior
high school in West Des Moines, Iowa in 1981-1982.  It was called a
"Folio Bag" it was rectangular with a zippered opening and stiff
leather semicircular handles.  There was a little leather tag that
read, "Folio Bag."  The material of the purse varied to practically
any color or material.  I do not know who the manufacturer is.

Something like 90% of the students at my junior high school had this
purse, but I am able to find no trace of any information about this
purse anywhere on the web.  Did I imagine this whole fad?  Are there
Folio Bag purses still available for sale, new or used?  Did students
at other schools buy these things?
