available on a limited edition EP. A new album is supposed to be
released later this year and this song will be on it."

Sorry to have to tell you guys, but the answer is only partially correct.

The song IS "One Safe Place" and IS by Marc Cohn, unfortunately the
version of the song on the Limited Edition EP is a LIVE version, and has
an audience cheering at the beginning and end.  He has another version of
the song out on Album #4 that is not live, but STILL not the version from
the end credits of "Upside of Anger".

If one actually rents the movie and pays attention to the credits, it was
performed with, I think, the London Symphony Orchestra.

I'm looking for that version myself, as I'd like to use it for my wedding
song, but haven't had luck yet.  I hope you guys can find THAT version.

I have been searching everywhere for this song.  Did you have any luck
