Hello-

I use Poker Academy Pro. It saves the histories of the hands I play
as a text file. The file path is C:\Documents &
Settings\UserName\Application Data\PokerAcademyPro\logs\GAMES_V3.LOG

I also use Poker Tracker which is a database of statistics that it
pulls from reading hand histories from the various poker sites. These
hand histories are also text files of formats that vary according to
the site they are form.

These two text files (Poker Academy Pro vs. poker site hand histories)
do not look at all similar.

I am interested in whether some code could be written that would take
the text in Poker Academy Pro and "translate" it to a format of one of
the supported poker sites' hand histories so that it would be read by
Poker Tracker.

If this is an easy project, and I don't know if it is, how would I go
about finding someone who could do this for a reasonable amount of
money? Alternatively, I suppose they could keep the rights to the
code themselves and charge the small market that would be interested
in this service.

To restate, I am wondering if this is doable, and if so, how much
effort it would take and what approximate price the market would
charge? I will be happy to tip if a lead is also provided to where I
might get this work done cheap.

Thank you.

It's almost certainly doable assuming that the two formats record the
same data (number of hands, type of hands etc). The time it takes to
program the converter is dependent on the formats used, but I'd be
surprised if it took more than a few hours to create a converter.
