Methacrylic Acid is a monomer/a resin used as an adhesive for binding. It is used in the coating of tablets. Methacrylic acid is toxic beyond a certain extend but the Drug companies follow the FDA regulations for safety amonts of Methacrylic acid in a capsule/drug. All drugs manufactured in USA follow the FDA safety limit for Methacrylic acid in tables and this holds true for Solgar Vitamins. |
