Is studiotraffic.com legal?

I don't see any glaring legal problems with it.

Can you tell us what your concerns are? That may help focus our research.

Thanks.

Basically it just seems too good to be true.
Basically I upgraded by $100, then they are paying 1% if I surf 100 sites a day.
This would equal 365% return in one year!
How can they do that, and how on earth can that be legal?
Where is the scheme, if there is one?

There is no answer at this time.

Their alleged headquarter is an address in Panama. And their domain is
registered through an "anonymizer" service. That means: They want to
be out of reach for US courts and they want not to be traced by their
customers. Two typical warning signs you often encounter with
companies that are not really kosher...

I wondered about that.
I think I will write this off as a scam, and stay away.
I've already upgraded by account, but I'll just let that money go.
Thank You.

I would not bother warning people away.... you'd be doing them a
disservice! Go back and look around the Forum. Or just listen to me:
I've been a member since August of 2004, and I have been earning
increasing amounts of money each month, plus referral commissions.
They keep paying me any withdrawal requests I make. They now have
their own payment processor, StudioPay. Everything is honest,
aboveboard, and nothing to be wary about! Enjoy!

You would be doing yourself a service by taking the time to read
StudioTraffic's refund policy. Please give this reputable company a
chance to honor what they have pledged to all members. You just may
find reason to stick with StudioTraffic. My experience since January
'05 has been nothing but sheer delight. ST is a well run company,
founded on solid principals. ST's administration, many of which were
hired after becoming members themselves, have demonstrated a devotion
to their work far beyond the norm. If honesty, integrity, and ethical
behaviour are hallmarks of a company worth aligning yourself with,
then you will put that $100 to work, make yourself some money, and get
on with the goal you set out to reach. Surf STV, earn your 1%, and
show the skeptics that a better and more profitable world is at hand.
We welcome you as a member, and wish you and your family all the
success in the world. Thank you for inquiry.

I cant say that ST is illegal or legal but from how ST is ran/how
everyone behaves, i feel that it is most likely another illegal ponzi
scam.

What all these ST cheerleaders are forgetting to see is if the company
can last an another day.
Now read this: It is true, ST does pay out, no doubt about it, but can
it tomorrow? Next month?
Did you read it ? Im not saying anything about ST's past but about its
future and where its heading like so many other quick money scams.

Here are some of my questions that have been failed to be answered:

How is ST able to pay out (on a $15k account) +$52k a year to a SINGLE MEMBER?
Why should anyone have a job (or a second one) when they can be doing this instead?
ST needs to grow at LEAST 3.65 times in size every year or it will
collapse with member pay outs under the stress of its growth.

Ever heard of tax evasion - isnt it illegal? Why ST headquarters
located outside of the US?

Why is everything on ST's forums STRONGLY censored by the moderators
(no posting of personal information/no links to other pages). Why is
it every time you ask a question about how ST works/or have generally
a negative comment about ST youre told off by some stupid run of the
mill answer (do a search/read newsletters/submit a ticket) and your
post locked? Why cant you discuss ST on other sites (its against TOS)?

Why doesnt the owner give out his full first and last name? Pictures
of the office(s) or of the owner and mods arent given out either.

Poorly designed and coded web site. Doesnt have a real corporate feel
to it, kind of flashy-scam kind of look.
How can ST pay for "holidays" (where they shut down the ads for a day
to do maintenance but still pay all the members)?

How come the domain registration ends August 2005, how come it hasnt
been renewed, and why is it private registration?
How come they dont renew it for 5 or 10 years if theyre so sure of
stability of ST?

The business is built on a closed group of members so the ads cannot
be viewed by the public, only members of ST. Further more the ads are
only to other quick money schemes and not real products or web sites.
The ads are completely random to the user, they arent content based
like google. Also the user doesnt even have to view the ads! She or He
can leave the room/open another window/do what ever just not view the
ads.

Also if this is such a great business how come there isnt some big ad
corporation that comes in and buys ST out? OR How come there isnt
other big advertising companies try to emulate what ST tries to do?
The idea of the search engine got copied over and over (Yahoo,
altavista, google, msn, dogpile, etc etc) because it was a valid
business model and makes real profits (google's Adsense/Adwords).

Now watch, some brat from ST is going to come and complain how i am
wrong and how perfect ST is, OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE, THE STAFF AT ST
CAN BE ANYONE. THEY DONT REVEAL PERSONAL INFORMATION AT ALL AND TRY TO
COVER THEIR TRACKS! For all you know they can be drug dealers moving
money around. If a company keeps so much behind the curtains, it is
definitely doing something immoral.

ST can also be a completely legal company, maybe how ST conducts its
business is new to the advertising world... maybe the next big thing
in ads!

About time they renewed, no reason why they didn't earlier.

Still room for more improvement :)

Legality maye be questionable, but they will take your $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
and run !

Warning Warning !

StudioTraffic is on hold on most "watchdog" forums and it appears
their house of cards is crashing down. They still have their paid
"cheerleaders" pumping but I was a member for a year, as soon as I
got to the point where I was "in profit" then locked my account and
now they will not even respond to any trouble tickets, direct emails
and on their censored forum, you can not discuss their problems or
you get banned. The have pretty much stopped paying out, but are
trying very hard to keep the $$ coming in to keep their Ponzi
shored up to make some more fast $$$$ !

Danger ! BEWARE ! They ripped me off and there is no reason they
will not rip you off too !
