I've found that my favorite classical music tends to be produced for
movies. One example is John Powell's music for the The Bourne Identity
and The Bourne Supremacy. Another example is Howard Shore's music for
The Lord of the Rings. Another is Brad Fiedel's music for Terminator
2.

In the above list, the music from The Bourne Identity is my favorite
due to its nearly nonstop adrenaline inducing pace.

I like rousing exciting orchestral music. I was wondering if there is
someplace where I can get a list of music of that type. It doesn't
need to be music that was actually produced for movies.

These are high-energy classical works that you might like:

Dukas, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice"
Grieg, "In the Hall of the Mountain King"
Khachaturian, "Sabre Dance"
Moussorgsky, "Night on Bald Mountain"
Ravel, "Bolero"
Tchaikovsky, "1812 Overture" and "Marche Slav"
Wagner, "Ride of the Valkyrie"

Some of these start rather slowly, but they all build to an exciting finish.

Not to mention Rossini (William Tell, Barber of Seville),
Suppe (Light Cavalry Overture),
Orff (O Fortuna),
Bizet (Carmen Toreador Chorus)

Have a look at www.musicianwar.com - particularly the pro-war section
- if you're prepared to step outside an orchestral setting.

And what you should really look into is music by motion picture
composers like Hans Zimmer, John Williams and Jerry Goldstein. There
are a lot of soundracks by them available, and most of them should be
in the style you are looking for.
