I am a graduate student working on an MBA. Being unemployed and unsponsored by a company to complete the program, I have accumuluated considerable student loan debt. These are mostly private loans to pay for tuition, and living expenses including room and board. I am currently seeking work upon graduation. My program is a general MBA and my prior work experience is in IT, but I am looking to branch out into other general management areas that are not IT. I also have a background and licensure in the beauty and hair industry. My family owns a beauty salon and I am familiar with and enjoy the industry. I have read about graduate students that have found employers that offer "student loan forgiveness" - whereby they pay the balance of your student loans in exchange for a contractual work agreement. Which companies (specifically) offer such type of bonus compensation? wnat specific jobs? and what are the caveats? What else do you know about possibilities for 'student loan forgiveness'? |

Federal Government offers it for employees. They never use the term "forgiveness" however always "repayment." http://www.opm.gov/oca/pay/studentloan/ I have received it. |
