I need to find some resources outlining of the reasons for and the
issues surrounding commercial liability insurance. Specifically, this
is for a California-based, privately held, early-stage company
involved in product development of ballistics technology for the law
enforcement and military markets (significant liability issues). I
have heard that $1 million is the
standard amount of coverage? I want to understand the possible
personal exposure if senior mgt and the board? Also, any thoughts on
where I might find the best rates for liability insurance considering
the industry we're in?
