I'm looking for information on a research study done at Loyola University. The purpose of the study was to determine whether a dentist's ability to build rapport with clients affected their perception of his/her technical ability. The control group did not receive training on building rapport. The test group did. At a minimum, I want to know when the study was done, who did the study, and how many dentists were included. Ideally, I'd like a link to full study report or a complete description of the study. |

Here are some articles that PubMed dredged up. No abstracts available. Looks like Marston submitted it to various journals in various states. No idea if this is the same study that you are interested in. 1: Marston J. Building patient rapport: developing positive attitudes toward the dentist and staff. R I Dent J. 1997 Spring;30(1):18. Thank you. I should be able to find one of these in the library. You can charge my account. |

You're quite welcome. Fortunately, the comment is free. I'm not a GA researcher; I just want to play one on TV. Just as well that it's free, because it might not be what you were seeking. Hope it is, though. Good luck! |
