My fiance' is a resident of tennessee. He has a child that was born
out of wedlock who is twelve years old. My fiance had this child from
the time he was 6 weeks old until the time he turn 10. That's when his
mother came and picked him and all of his belongings up and never brought
him back. Last October, my fiance' get a notice in the mail to go to
court to establish paternity. When he gets there, he is automatically
ordered to pay child support and provide medical support because he is
listed as the father on the birth certificate. Since that time, my
fiance' has had a blood test done and the test has shown that he is
not the biological father of the child. What should my finace' do and
what steps should he take to get back into court and get his child
support stopped? Just because his name is on the birth certificate
will he be stuck paying child support for a child that is not
biologically his.

I'm afraid that your fiancé will have a hard case against him.
According to a news report on ABC News that aired several days ago,
many states are now forcing men to pay paternity support to children
that are not their own because they already agreed from the beginning.
