My friend in Japan is applying for a Master's Degree program in
Economics and is preparing for an interview. She asked me for help.

I'd like to know what kind of questions would be asked for this type
of interview. I know the typical job interview questions but not sure
about Master Degree interview. Could you list some sample questions?

I think there would be questions like "Why did you choose us over
other universities" but the more the better. Please, if anybody has
had Master Degree interview experience, share the type of questions
you were being asked even if it was not an Economics Master Degree
program. I could just easily replace your major with Economics. This
way I would have an idea of the type of questions to expect and pass
that information to my friend.
