Hi Researchers

I?d like an analysis of 15- 20 pricing models of ?stand-and-deliver?
training programmes available for purchase by training companies &/or
training departments of large organizations.

Explanations:
1.	My subject of key interest is productivity and time management, but
there will be other topics with relevant comparisons.

2.	I?d like specific and detailed comparisons on programs that involve
participants for 3-4 days, produced by a known expert in that field.

3.	My preliminary research shows that the pricing continuum for
training programmes is huge. I?m particularly interested in
information that covers programs somewhere in the middle of the
extremes outlined below.

4.	At the budget end good programs by relatively low-profile authors
or training course designers can fetch as low as a few hundred dollars
and rarely as much as $1000. They are typically sold off the shelf by
training product resellers, and usually include a video, trainer?s and
participants? workbooks for copying, no further training for a
would-be trainer, and no follow-up. No controls are applied; no
further money changes hands. Don?t include this type in your answer.

5.	At the top end, programs created by subject specialists or
consultants with a high reputation in their field can fetch very
different fees, are often licensed and sometimes franchised. They
might consist of a fee of thousands of dollars just for the access to
the IP; comprehensive workbooks for both participants and trainer,
often in very elaborate packaging; and train-the-trainer training for
each person who wishes to deliver the program. Even if they charge
only a small IP fee, or none, there is usually a fee for the initial
training, and some combination of ongoing residual fees. These might
include a per head fee for use of the materials; an annual renewal fee
which might include updates of course material; further materials
delivered over time, often digitally; and control of workbooks is
sometimes managed by the seller, as a method of knowing the numbers of
users.

6.	I need quite detailed information, e.g. how the prices are broken
down, what follow-up is provided, what sort of residual fees are
involved, the length of training, the initial cost of the IP separate
from other fees (if any), any per head costs, licensing or franchising
fees.

7.	Licensing examples are of high interest, franchising less so, but
it would be helpful to have a couple of franchising examples.

Thanks
