I am re-building my home PC and I am looking for a good web bulletin board / community site where I can pose a few questions and some good answers. I am not looking for web pages that provide technical information or 'how to' guides. I want an interactive bulletin board community, that has a decent size member base, accepts new users, and offers high-level advice. The bulletin board I need suggested will have to provide reasonabily advanced advice; I will be doing things to my computer like tweaking the BIOS and using unusual hardware configurations and I would ideally like decent advice from experienced, friendly people. Please help me find two (2) bulletin boards that look appropriate. English only please. |

that's really hard to say a board that provide you decent advive or not, that is all depends on the users not the board really. but i would suggest http://www.tech-forums.net/ they got some overclockers with currently 172 users active and a category called NEW Technology Services & Products. i hope this help you |

You will probably find most high-level geeks hang out in Usenet rather than on web-based fora, which are regarded as a bit naff by many. Check out news:comp.* You can use newsgroups through Google Groups service, see http://groups.google.com/googlegroups/posting_style.html Owain |
