And I'd like to use one of the many bluetooth SDIO cards.

Can you find a windows xp driver for one of the bluetooth sdio cards? 
If you find it, and it works on my laptop, $50 is yours!

No, I would not need drivers for a specific card.  But I want to be
sure whatever card is recommended would work with my pc, the panasonic
W2.  I'm not sure if my PC has a compatible SDIO slot.  A bit of
research or a quick call to their tech support to verify this and $50
is yours.

I bought this.  It does not work.  The manual also specifically says
it does not work on laptops other than toshiba.  Any other
suggestions?

The toshiba sdio card would work.

Please double check that it accually supports non-toshiba laptops,
specifically mine, the panasonic w2.

I think my laptop is sdio compatible but not sure.

When you check that out, i'm going to buy it on amazon, see if it
works, and you can get paid.

You might need a bluetooth windows upgrade kit. See if the following link helps.

The link you mention seems to be specifically for compactflash cards,
not sdio cards.  Do you think it will work with sdio cards?
