Hello,

The American Association of Community Theatre can get you started in
your search. See (www.aact.org).

The National Endowment for the Arts has grant programs for big and
small theaters and companies. See
(http://63.169.191.195:591/federal-opportunities02/FMPro?-db=federal.FP3&-lay=form&federal+agency=National+Endowment+for+the+Arts+(NEA)&-format=results-federal.htm&-find).

The Texas Commission on the Arts
(http://www.arts.state.tx.us/templates/textpage.asp?bid=tca&tid=fas)
can assist you in getting funding.

The Hobiltzelle Foundation
(http://home.att.net/~hoblitzelle/index.htm) in recent years has given
grants to theater groups throughout Texas.

The Lee & Ramona Bass Foundation
(http://www.sidrichardson.org/lrbf.htm) awards funds to community
groups in Texas.

Philanthropy in Texas magazine
(http://www.philanthropyintexas.com/default.htm) has current and back
issues online.

The Austin Community Foundation
(http://www.austincommunityfoundation.org/acfhome/home.asp) sounds
like a good bet.

Also check out Austin Social Venture Partners (http://www.asvp.org/).

Whole Foods Market (http://www.wholefoods.com/company/communitygiving.html)
awards grants to nonprofit organizations in areas where it has stores
(it has stores in Austin). So does H-E-B
(http://www.heb.com/heb/comm/commA1-invest.jsp).

Samsung Austin Semiconductor
(http://www.sas.samsung.com/comm_main.htm#) awards grants to cultural
groups, as well as other nonprofits.

The Foundation Center (http://fdncenter.org/) has services to help
nonprofits find grants. Some services are fee-based.

That should be enough to get you started. Good luck!
