Prior to 1990, I saw a version of Lewis Carroll's "Through the Looking Glass." It may have been titled "Alice in Wonderland"; however, the story told was that of "Through the Looking Glass." The movie may have also been a TV movie--my apologies for the vagueness, but the majority of the movie was in song, so I suppose it qualifies as a musical. The movie was _not_ animated, and had a real/live Jabberwocky. The Walrus and Carpenter sing their famed poem to a crowd of oysters which sprout legs. | |
