The leading coffee-house franchises in North America are Starbucks (in the U.S. and Canada) and Tim Horton's (in Canada). What are the average franchise-plus-startup costs to open a Starbucks or Tim Horton's franchise...and...what is the range of their suggested or usual, "average" net profitability of both of those franchises? |

From the Starbucks website Q: Does Starbucks franchise? A: No, Starbucks does not franchise to individuals. However, in situations in which a master concessionaire or other company controls or can provide improved access to desirable retail space (such as an airport), the Company may consider licensing its operations to such a company. |
