I am looking for a document that describes a generic database design for calibration system. I have previously found this document but I can no longer seem to find it. I think I found a link on Google which took me to a site that had a reference to the document in question. The document is available in electronic format (at no cost). My recollection is that the document may have been a PDF or PPT file. It was more or less a presentation and I believe it was presented at a technical conference. The paper advocated a flexible data structure for performing calibrations. I have tried a lot of searching on Google and a little on Yahoo without success. Example searches included: calibration database structure design calibration data structure SQL inspection attribute SQL linearity flexible I am not absolutely positive but I think it is a 30- to 50-page document. You will know you have the document if it gives you details information on what data structures you should consider in making a calibration / inspection database. I believe it was specific to measuring instruments, sensors, transducers, and the like. |
