Is there a copy available anywhere of the 2004(?) BBC TV production
called "Eroica"? It recreates an 1804 rehearsal in Austria of
Beethoven's Third symphony, of the same name. I can't see a DVD or
VHS listed anywhere, and I messed up the taping and got only half. It
was recently on the Disvovery HD channel. The program includes the complete work. |

I found two sources that do not have the film in stock at the moment
but offer an opportunity for customers to pre-order it for when it
does come in. I found not a single source that currently has the film
in stock so are these two pre-order sources of interest to you as an
answer?

Tutuzdad,
Probably not unless there is some indication that the film will
actually become available some day. Otherwise, I would suspect that
the vendors just list everything they see or hear about in hopes of
getting one hooked. Sort of like those automatic pop ups that might
tell me I will find Helen Mirren, as a person, at Amazon.com, or the
meaning of life on eBay. Is there an expected availability date
stated? If the film does in fact become available some day, ny
standing search on eBay should fnd it soon enough. What do you think?

The BBC UK website, which I finally thought to look at, ays it will be
released May 2. To all, thanks for the interest. At this point, I
will just wait for it to become commercially available.
