Curves

With more than 7,000 fitness and weight loss centers around the globe,
Curves is the largest fitness franchise in the world. One in four
health clubs in the U.S. is a Curves, a stupendous feat given that the
company has only been around since 1992.

Gary Heavin, the founder of the Waco, Texas-based chain of exercise
studios called Curves, is a heavy contributor to several organizations
allied with Operation Save America, the rather more muscular successor
to Operation Rescue, the anti-choice group.

In an article in Christianity Today, Heavin expressed pride in his
involvement with anti-choice groups, to which he donates 10 percent of
Curves' profits.

Fundamentalist Christian organizations provide help to the poor all
around the globe whereas Muslim fundamentalist organization like
Al-Qaeda provide bomb and spread terror around the world. So Christian
fundamentalist groups have the right to do what they are doing as long
as they serve the humanity.

I forgot to say:
_please_ don't get into the politics of the thing!

when I say "allied with" or "donate money to," that could include
pro-life causes, conservative PACs, conservative candidates, defense
of marriage causes, and the like.

there you have it. all fundamentalist christians are wonderful and all
muslims are bad. so i guess it's okay for the fundamentalist
christians to continue to do exactly what they have done throughout
their entire history. kill everyone who disagrees with them. let's not
forget the wonderful work they were doing during the tsunami.
withholding food and water from the injured, starving and homeless
unless they converted first. aren't they the guiding lights. oh and i
suppose the child molestation inside the r.c. church comes under the
heading of great works too. in the real world dipto, good and bad
exists. in each group some of each resides. but your love your brother
and help your fellow man attitude is inspiring.

snapple is not now and has never been associated with any christian
groups or the kkk for that matter. that is one of those internet
emails that lives forever.
chick fil a on the other hand, was founded by truett cathy who
describes himself as a devout southern bapist who has taught sunday
school for 44 years, has a quote from proverbs the home page of his
website, closes his stores on sunday and his biography was published
by zondervan press. if it walks like a duck and all. of course there
is nothing intrinsically wrong with being any of those things and
there is nothing wrong with never ever spending five cents in one of
his stores because the money goes to support a repressive view of
america and an attack on the constitution and personal freedoms. see
unlike the fundamentalist christians, thinking beings support their
right to exist and live their lives any way they choose. if only they
could think the same about others while wrapping themselves in the
flag.

another one that comes to mind is dominoes pizza. founder tom monahan
is another corporate type that spends a lot of his money supporting
the types of organizations referred to in your question.
