In the US, it is lawful to make a nonprofit edition of a book in an "assistive format" for blind people, because of an exception to the US copyright law. I need the name of a country that doesn't have this exception. | |

The United Kingdom now has similar provisions Copyright (Visually Impaired Persons) Act 2002 http://www.legislation.hmso.gov.uk/acts/acts2002/20020033.htm Owain |
