I'm a journalist trying to track down a photo of a man named Humayun
Khan, a Pakistani businessman who runs a company called Pakland PME
Corp. in Islamabad. He is not the same Humayun Khan who was minister
of commerce.

Hello,

I have found a good quality photo of the man you asked about -- the
businessman who is recently implicated in trading nuclear
technologies.

However, the photograph is only available through a commercial
subscription service.

Since the service is targeted towards journalists, I imagine you might
have access to it, but I can't be certain of that.

However, if you'd like me to post the details about the photo --
including where to access it for download -- let me know, and I'll be
glad to post that info as an answer to your question.

bayareajour-ga,

Humayun Khan was interviewed by the Associated Press in Islamabad on
February 20, 2004, and photographed by AP photographer Paul Haven.

I was able to find and retrieve the photo (at least during my first
attempt) at an AP photo archive site which, oddly, is affiliated with
the Accuweather weather forecasting service:

http://accuweather.ap.org/Intro/index2.html

Although the home page seems to open up fine, the search function no
longer works for me, which is why I haven't posted this as an answer.

However, give it a try -- or perhaps you have professional access to
the official AP site and can try it there as well.

A search on Humayum Khan leads to the 2/20/2004 photo, which was
available to me at this link:

The caption with the photo is:

Pakistan, on Friday, Feb. 20, 2004. Khan, named in U.S. court
documents as part of a nuclear proliferation scheme, denied any link
to a nuclear black market network. (AP Photo/Paul Haven)"

I hope this information is enough for you to secure a professional
copy of the photo on your own. Please let me know how things turn
out, and whether I should post a formal answer to your question.

All the best,
