How can we apply for a credit card that 
will withstand the coming and going of particular employees and be a 
credit card for the company and not supported by that one poor CFO?

Check in to American Express. They have several options for the corprorate types.

Also concider a line of credit with your finacial institution (your
bank) who takes care of your business payrole and accounts
receivables/ Payables.
