Some workplaces filter web surfing using surf patrol and other programs. I believe that there are some websites that enable you to surf other website in their window - but still resolving their own address - enabling you to get round a companies web filter. Can anyone let me know the address of one of these sites? Thanks Insh |

Some ought to give privacy as they claim they are encrypting the requests . I don't know how far u can escape from the network admin in ur workplace |

You may want to download Netscape or Firefox and use it as your "open browser", enter an alternative proxy for your HTTP connections and that will bypass the blocks, however, if your IT manager or other managers are monitoring what you do on your computer it may not be the most intelligent thing to do and could be grounds for dismissal. |

The only problem with the list mentioned above is sometimes the filtering software will block access to them.Use this page http://www.space.net.au/~thomas/quickbrowse.html if that happens. |
