Hi,

I'm looking for a few periodicals to pick one good one out of that
cover 'Decision Making'.

Level of sophistication and ugliness are not an issue, I'm looking for
the better ones out there.

Thank you.

Hi 6ra3-ga!

a. What industry should we focus on? (Example: Information Technology)

b. Can we just list the magazines so you'll just be the one to
determine which are the ones you think are quite good magazines?

Thanks!

Hello Easterangel,

I'm interested in the Decision Making from a management prospective,
regardless of industry as management priciples in decision making are
not bound by industry. Your rational on the principle level will not
be changed by the subject matter particulars, the same principles will
apply and those I'm interested in.

Is that clearer?

I need your help in identifying a newsletter or periodical that will
likely be the most relavent publication out there to cover the above
subject. I would like to know how you'll quantify, typically in such
a situation, that a particular publication is pioneering in its area?

Hi again Mao!

I think in order to give a fair answer to this query, one should be
familiar with such types of magazines. I am releasing this question to
other researchers who may be able to do a better job.

Thanks!

Hello 6ra3-ga,

Thank you for your appreciative comments. I'd love to work on this for
you but I need further guidance. This is a HUGE subject so it would
help if you could tell me more about your criteria for evaluating the
periodicals I might consider. Who will be the audience for the "one
good one" you're trying to identify. I'm somewhat familiar with this
field and I'll gladly pursue this for you if you tell me more about
the context of your question so I can figure out how to set the
filters for this project. I look forward to your clarification.

Hello Czh,

I appreciate your interest in answering this question. I will need
your help in narrowing down the scope, that's how it'll happen as I
don't know exactly how to describe it or what I'm looking in exact
terms. I'm also doing this for someone else so there's a small gap
which we'll work out.

I'll make sure if this goes beyond the original amount allows, I'll
cover it from the tip field.

Hello again 6ra3-ga,

Thanks for the additional input. I will not be able to get to this
until this evening. If the matter is urgent please post a
clarification so someone else can answer the question.

Please ask the person you're doing this for what is the ultimate goal
of identifying one "Decision Making" periodical. How will it be used?
Is it for management training? What level managers? Is it for
distribution to a group? What kind of group? Is it for continuing
education or to keep up with the trends? What field ? For example,
management decision making in a unionized environment is different
from a non-unionized company. Management issues in a small start-up
are different from management issues in a multi-national conglomerate.

The more information you can share, the more likely that I will be
able to get you exactly what you need. I look forward to your further
clarifications.

Hello 6ra3-ga,

I've been working on your question for a couple of hours and I'm
afraid without further input from you regarding my last request for
clarification I just don't know what direction to take. The field is
simply too big without you cutting it down to size. I'm releasing my
lock and I hope that someone else can get you the information you
need.

All the best.
