I would like information on how to paint blown glass ornaments in the
traditional old world colors that are found on the blown glass
Christmas ornaments from Poland, Germany etc. I know that they silver
the inside and coat with a basecoat color, then hand paint, but I
don't know what paints or process are used to achieve that special
luminescent color. I would like to know the type of paint, the brand
name and where I can purchase it. Pebeo 160, airbrush paint, stained
glass paint and transparent glass paint do not work. To see an
example of the color I am looking for go to:
www.varsovia-ornaments.com (page 2) or any other of the old world
ornament sites.
Thanks!
