I need to do a formula audit on an assignment for my FMIS class. It
requires me to not only do a spreadsheet but also do a formula audit
that shows the formulas ON the spreadsheet. Using a PC it is
relatively easy but I am using a Mac. If I go to tools and choose
auditing it offers me just the ability to trace the spreadsheet using
a blue arrow. That is not what I want. I want the actual formulas to
prove to my professor I just didn?t type in numbers.

ok, when I go to excel preferences I do not see a windows options section.
I do see a view, save, calculation, edit, general, transition, custom
lists, chart. color.

For V.x:
Under Excel/Preferences menu, in the "Window options" section, check
the "Formulas" box.

Sorry, my error.

It is Excel/Preferences/View, then you should see the Window options section.
