Sports Cars are classified differently in the US than other countries
around the world. Some places may look at sports cars as Ferraris and
Lamborghinis. The US Sport Car Market is far larger than many other
countries as we offer cheaper solutions then those cars. An example is
Mitsubishi. They have a lower end sports car as well as other car
companies like Honda where people will trick out their car. The Sports
car market is really large when you look at it from a wide
perspective.

That's correct! Here in North America we have a wider range of
"sports" cars. We have sports compact, sports luxury, sports exotic
and sports custom - they are all different and have classes within
those broad catagories. So, when you ask, "What is the current size of
the USA sports car market?", you have to be just a little more
specific. - Optimum Motorworks
