Great again Any chance you can find data on the average number of customers that each of these utilities serves. For example if Inda has 100 water utilities what % of those serves less than 10,000 customers, less than 50,000, less than 100,000 etc.? If so - I could start a new question for you Thanks |

As far as Turkey is concerned, the information is not accurate. State Hydraulic Works (DSI) is only responsible for management of water sources for power generation and irrigation. Water utility services are carried out by municipalities in Turkey. However in metropolises, water utilities, which are owned by metropolis municipalities, provide water service for customers. Some examples are ISKI for Istanbul (the largest utility), ASKI for Ankara, IZSU for Izmir, etc. |
