Clearhill Can I ask *why* you've asked this question. What is your objective in outlining fonts in the PDF format? To stop people making amendments (if so just add security options to your PDF to prevent this)?; to enable end user to see *fantasy* fonts not installed locally ? Is the PDF for a printer or graphic studio? To answer the question: no, not to my knowledge. I haven't seen the option in AI CS neither. Perhaps the new version out later this month will include this feature. PDF is simply a glorified compression format when exporting from Illustrator or saving as PDF in Photoshop. It's not a *real* PDF for a high end print studio; for their purposes you'll need something like Acrobat Distiller or Instant PDF. |
