I'm running iSync 1.5 (v139) and HotSync 3.2.1 I'm an advanced user,
and have tried numerous permutations in running the various synching
software.

First point: with iSynch in the loop, how can you force the Palm to
overwrite the Mac for Address Book and iCal? For whatever reason, my
data on the Mac has become corrupted, and I want to force the good
data from the Palm (Treo 650) onto the Mac for these two application
(i.e. AddressBook and iCal). The iSynch user interface allows forcing
from Mac to Palm, but not seemingly the other way around.

2nd point: Conversely for Memos, I have not been able to get the data
in Memos to move from the Mac to the Palm. The good data is on the
Mac. I've tried just using HotSync with everything else turned off,
and with the setting for Memos set to overwrite from Mac to Palm, but
still not joy.
