I have Windows XP, SP2. In the past, when I connected my digital
camera (USB) a wizard would copy the photos to my hard drive for me.
The wizard is gone. How do I get it back?

Howdy lsax-ga,

It might help researchers to know the brand and model number of the digital
camera that you own. Thanks!

Please perform the following test with the camera connected and turned
on and report the results.

1) Click on START>RUN
2) In the RUN dialog box, type in WIAACMGR then click OK.

Thank you!

I have the exact same problem with a minolta. Camera is recognized by
Adobe software so it is not the camera. XP wizard can not find camera
nor is it listed under devices.
Any and all ideas gratefully received.
P.S. "WIAACMGR" is not found.

I'm the one with the same problem and now have a solution found on
another site. It worked for me but do not know why - firewalls--I
think.
