I sponsor agents for their contracts with insurance companies. Along
with that sponsorship comes my guarantee that any money advanced to an
agent on any policy he gets issued. The insurance companies sometimes
go ahead and give the agent their commission before its completly
earned. Question...Is it true that if they don't pay me back for any
monies charged back to them that I am liable for, I can or cannot levy
their paycheck or commission check in the states of Florida, Texas,
Nevada, and California? There is probably a simpler way to ask this
question; If someone owes me money and they don't pay me, can I lien
their paycheck in certain states?
