I use Outlook 2003 contacts to mail merge, with Word 2003 as editor. I want to insert an ATTACHMENT (file) so that every email contains that attachment. But I do not see any ?paperclip? logo on the MS Word?s Toolbar to do it. Even if I customize to include the paperclip, it is Insert File, which is not what I want. Am I missing something or is there a workaround? |

Hi plt-ga, All roads lead to this article: Mail Merge to E-mail with Attachments by Doug Robbins: "This procedure can be used to mail merge to e-mail, including attachments with each message when Microsoft Office Outlook is installed. It has been tested with Office 97 and Office 2003 Beta 2. So it is assumed that it will work with all versions from Office 97 on. It is not necessary for Outlook to be nominated as the default mail program, but it must be installed on the system. The procedure can handle multiple attachments for each message, individual attachments for each recipient, common attachments for all recipients, or a mixture of both." http://word.mvps.org/faqs/mailmerge/MergeWithAttachments.htm If you need help with macros: What do I do with macros sent to me by other newsgroup readers to help me out? http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/CreateAMacro.htm Additional Link of Interest: Mail Tools for Microsoft Outlook: http://www.slipstick.com/addins/mail.htm I hope this helps.
