For a Step Index Fiber, the normalized frequency is 2.2 and the core
diameter is 10micrometers. Plot the transverse-plane intensity
pattern. At what radial distance does the field drop to 10% of its
maximum value? (answer to the question is 6.287micrometers).
I'm just trying to figure out how to set up the problem so that I can
plot this transverse plane intensity pattern.
