What is the title of the song sung by Jerry Vale, that includes the lyrics
"What can I lose if I gamble again in the game of fools"
"What can I lose if I win Heaven on earth"
"Double my bet it's lover's roulette"
"Cover my bet it's lover's roulette winner take all"

I have not been able to track down a song sung by Jerry Vale with
those lyrics.

However, I found a song by another male vocalist that I think might be
your song.

Do these lyrics sound familiar to you? If so, I'll write this up as an
answer and give you the name of the song and the singer.

The game lured us on, we gave it a whirl
The stakes were the heart of a boy and a girl
Each spin of the wheel seemed more entrancing
Drunk with romancing
My soul was on fire...

Dear mother1,

In 1966, Jerry Vale recorded a song called "Lover's Roulette,"
according to this site devoted to music of the '60s:

http://60s.www7.50megs.com/v.htm

In the same year, 1966, the song was also recorded by Mel Torme, on an
album called "Right Now." This Mel Torme album was digitally
remastered and reissued in 1997. It is apparently out of press at this
time, but reasonably-priced used copies are available at Half.com:

http://half.ebay.com/cat/buy/prod.cgi?cpid=1698046&domain_id=1876&meta_id=2

Alas, I have not been able to track down a recording of the song by
Jerry Vale. As far as I can tell, at this time the only easily
obtainable performance of "Lover's Roulette" is the Mel Torme version.

In case you wonder what song I was referring to in my clarification
request, that song was called "Roulette," and the singer was Tony
Martin. It is a rather nice song, with a similar metaphor about love
being like a spin of the roulette wheel.

Many, many thanks to my fellow researcher, juggler-ga, without whose
assistance I would have hit the double-zeroes!

I hope this information is helpful. Please ask for clarification if it
is needed.

Best wishes,
pinkfreud

One more item of information:

Writing credits for the song "Lover's Roulette" go to Arenas, Edmonds,
and Thompson (no first names given,) according to this site:

I rated a 3 because my answer was done quickly, I feel my question was
answered but it was not the answer I was looking for. I know Jerry
Vale sang this song as I have it on tape. It was taped a few years
ago from a record or CD, therefore no title is available to me. But I
do appreciate the effort put into looking. Thank you

I'm at a loss to find what part of your question was not answered.
The researcher correctly identified the song, by Jerry Vale, as
"Lover's Roulette" recorded in 1966, identified that a copy of the
song is NOT available on the Internet, but found a version of the song
by Mel Torme that is available at half-ebay, and identified the
writers of the song.

What additional information are you seeking??
