How can I find what the top talk radio shows are in major cities in the U.S.?

In particular, I need to know how Air America is doing in major
markets vs. their primary competition on other networks. For example,
for Los Angeles, how is Al Franken doing vs. Rush Limbaugh, Randi
Rhodes vs. Sean Hannity, etc. Thanks!

Basically, Air America has suffered from a variety of start-up
missteps. Most of the on-air personalities are not well known. There
have been significant financial difficulties and several people
initially involved had little experience with radio management.

One key to success in political talk radio is the need to keep it
light, keep it funny and keep it moving. Air America has had
difficulty finding it's voice and a consistent audience. The Liberal
market is fragmented into many different issue groups that find other
outlets.

The bromide that conservatives will flock to simple minded radio is
not often true as the Tribune article points out. Smart and agile
talkers have an educated audience. They do however, tend to be more
homogeneous on the issues than liberals.

That article bellow is full of holes.  The writer a RightWing nut.

There is a new PBS documentary on cable watch it.

Watch outfox the documentary, control room, Farenheit 911 and so on.
