I use win xp with sp2. recently i began having problems with
uploading and downloading my treo 600 outlook info for no known
reason. It had been working.

My printer hp 7310 quit working so I went and purchased another 7310.
When I tried to install the new software to the printer, it first
removed all of the original 7310 software, then started putting the
new software on my sys, but it got hung up and wouldn't go past the
11% install.

I called HP and they had me doing all kind of things but nothing
worked. We revieved "msconfig" "device manager" and other areas to no
avail.

When we looked at "device manager" there were no manager in the box,
it was completely enty. tried to unhide the driver but there were no
drivers to be found. my computer boots up and I can get on the web,
and everything else seems to be wroking propertly, just no drivers
listed and the hp 7310 software won't install.

Every thing seems to be on stop at this point,.

Can you help

Doug

First, sory for my english.

Copy all the CD to your Hard disk, erase the old driver and conect the
printer again, but search the driver in the folder that you copy from
the original CD from HP.

If that doesn't work, reinstall windows, no clean installation, just
re install it, you dont lose any files, just you must re install
programs , that can be a solution.

Other USB devices work fine at this time ???
