Need info about Microsoft?s licensing Policies and pricing How much would it cost to offer hosted Microsoft office 2003? I want to do this via Terminal Services on a Windows 2003 server. I assume I just need to buy a copy of Office for each user that I want to sign up. Amazon has Office for $420 for the Pro ver, $350 for standard ed, and $375 for Small Business Ed Is this the only way to go? If I have 5 or 10 or 20 people, can I get special pricing? How can I avoid the up-front cost? How much are the CALs or licenses needed for the terminal Services acct itself? I know that Microsoft?s licensing for adding terminal services user was very hard to understand last time I looked at it. I found a few companies that offers this and I noticed they don?t charge a sign-up fee, so I am wondering if they have some arraignment of licensing package where they pay monthly, rather then a large up front cost when adding a user. ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=hosted+microsoft+office&spell=1 I need the info in the next 24 hours if poss. thanx in advnce |

Check with CDW. They do a lot of work with Microsoft products and have experienced staff when it comes to licensing models. There is a special program by which you can pay for a number of licenses over the span of 3 years so that your costs up front are reduced. |
