Question ID: 512075
I am having a difficult time locating information on two dopamine
agonists: SKF 81297 (D1-like agonist) and quinpirole (D2-like
agonist).

What is the half-life for these drugs in rats (specifically of the
Wistar strain)? And any other pharmacokinetic information (or where I
can find such information) would be greatly appreciated.

There is no answer at this time.

I don't think you're going to find a lot of information about the
pharmacokinetics of these drugs: they are not common, and doing such
studies would likely be difficult, expensive, and not terribly useful.

If you are interested in their effects, however, you can go to
http://www.pubmed.org and do a MeSH search for "quinpirole" and "SKF
81297". I took a quick look through the results, and didn't see any
pharmacokinetic studies, though.

Cheers

Dear Linezolid:

Yeah, I've gone through Pubmed, Medline and ScienceDirect as well as others.

I use these two agonists in my thesis. It would be really good to find
the info. but no one knows. I've even tried contacting Sigma (the
company that I purchased from), Eli-Lilly and others!

I guess I can try to convince my committee it is not too important to
know this info....

Thank you for the comment!
