(Plese have numbers in 10 year incriments but any info is fine.)

I am sorry, Spartan, but answers to this and your other question are
Roman military secrets that cannot be revealed to anyone, most
especially to a militant Greek, even MM years later.  You know how
strict those Latin speakers in Rome are about upholding the old laws,
even if their own army now seems a bit antiquated and is no threat to
anyone.

But even if someone started counting legions  - theoretical full
strength: 3600, actual strength was often closer to 2000 If I remember
correctly).
Who knows, maybe the Romans had phantom legions to confuse the Gauls
if they intercepted communiques.

to politacal guru hey i'm the asker of the question; i would pay up
more i wish i could but being a teen i have no money (i;m in gifted
classes so i had to buy collage books) this is all the money i have
left for a mont and my Ap moving up presentation is in 3 weeks.
