Dear Rozanne,

According to official documents, John Paul I was not murdered, but
died of natural causes. Are you interested in conspiracy theories
claiming that his death was in fact a murder?

FWIW, when elected, he said his Papal name would be "John Paul the
First." The Vatican archivist told him, "Umm, Holy Father, you can
call yourself "John Paul," but not "the first." You don't become "the
first" until there is a "second."

But he insisted (and, hey, he's the Pope, so he won). He told the
archivist something to the effect "let it be so, since I will not be
here very long"

And 30 days later his prophecy came true.
